Adrian Clayborn pleads guilty
Well, at least that's over... Today Clayborn entered a guilty plea to disorderly conduct. This is the result of an incident from March of last year where Clayborn mistakenly took a taxi driver for an opposing quarterback and punched him in the face. Reportedly the driver just honked at him, but there were some rumblings around the internet that there was some words of the racially charged nature said as well.
Ticket Prices Announced for Hawkeye Football
The University of Iowa Athletic Department announced the ticket prices for the upcoming 2010 Hawkeye Football season today. If you weren't ready enough for football to start, just wait until you order your season tickets. Prices went up, unsurprisingly, but not much. Season tickets are up $3, and single games will be $55 for the less exciting match ups and $65 for the "premium" games.
3 Position Battles to Watch: Defense
With 8 starters returning there is less uncertainty about who will be playing defense for the Hawkeyes than on the offensive side. The open spots also have players that have gotten considerable experience, but there will still be some intense battles over the next few months.
Headed to the IC
I'm hitting Iowa City tomorrow for the spring career fair in the IMU. It'd be pretty awesome if I was looking to hire somebody to work for the blog here (which, if you do want to work for Fight For Iowa, let me know...I can pay you exactly $0.00). Or talking to football recruits would be cool. But alas, I am recruiting for my day job. Actually, I really enjoy it and like talking to all those energetic and optimistic young'ns. Plus, the UofI (obviously) is my favorite spot on the recruiting trail.
