Iowa Spring Practice: Pictures 1 of 3

I employed my brother, Evan, to take pictures for me at the practice while I took notes and stats in my little notepad. He's got a nice camera and was able to zoom in a take some nice pictures (thanks bro!). I have over 100 pictures but was able to pare it down to 30 of the best ones and I split it into 3 separate posts in the interest of post length.

Jewel Hampton, who is recovering from an ACL tear, was in a red "no contact" jersey. He participated in the stretches, drills, and the 7-on-7, but not in the scrimmage.

Iowa Spring Practice: Quick Thoughts

I had a great time at the spring practice today. The weather was beautiful, the Hawkeyes looked pretty good, the atmosphere in Kinnick was nice. Iowa vs Penn State a Night Game

I haven't seen official word on this yet (though there was a supposed email sent out to certain Alumns) but Marc Morehouse has it on his blog, so that's good enough for me. When Iowa and Penn State play on October 2 in Kinnick Stadium it will be under the lights. The game is slated for roughly a 7:05 kickoff and will be on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC.

Parker and O'Keefe Presser, Ferentz too!

Yesterday the media got its shot at Iowa Football's offensive and defensive coordinators. It was typical presser stuff with some fluffy questions and not-too-specific answers. But, Norm Parker is always awesome to hear from and KOK is actually kind of insightful. Morehouse has a ton of videos up from the presser: Norm videos, KOK videos. And, Rob Howe (of HawkeyeInsider.com) posted a new depth chart that I assume is what the team will look like for the spring "game" (which actually could have up to 2 full quarters of action, though no tackling).
