Iowa Football Predictions: Statistics

For the most part predicting statistics is a jellybeans in a jar type of deal. But I took a look at the Iowa Football statistics from last year and coupled that with some of my on thoughts who will be the starters and how the playing time will shake out. So, things like the running back rotation and the depth chart for the linebackers, depending on how they turn out, will likely determine the success of my predictions. Also, these are certainly not all inclusive. I'm sure there will be an end-around or reverse resulting in a receiver getting some rushing yards, or maybe another McNutt pass, and I know more players will record tackles than those listed. I don't think any other explanation is really needed. Please chime in with your thoughts in the comments.

One Year Old

A whole year has gone by since my first post on Fight For Iowa. (Actually it's been a year and one day...I took Easter off.) It is really kind of hard for me to believe. Spring Update

The seal on Iowa's spring practice has been pretty tight these past few days, as it always is, and the talk of the town is about basketball or something. Apparently hiring a new coach is some kind of big deal... Actually, I really like McCaffery, especially after his press conference today. I think he's going to be good for the program and for the first time in years I am actually interested in Iowa basketball again (and strangely want a mocha from McDonalds...) Maybe I'll blog about basketball next year some, though football will always be first. Anyway, the official site has been providing some great content via its "Camp Central" page and the coaches clinic gave way to a few more things to talk about.
