W Strongsville 34 - Medina 14 | (4-2)
Strongsville's usual starting quarterback was suspended from the game on Friday, but his backup proved to be just as good leading the Mustangs to a big win over Medina. The new QB completed 8 of 11 passes, 4 of which were to Hamilton. Hamilton's 4 receptions were good for 57 yards and two touchdowns including one at the very end of the first half that put the Mustangs up for good. Also, here is his latest blog post.
Next Game: at Mayfield - 10/08
Austin Blythe
W Williamsburg 62 - Benton 19 | (6-0)
Williamsburg started this game out sloppy with a few turnovers and held only a 21-19 lead in the third quarter. From there though, the Raiders turned on the afterburners and scored 6 second-half touchdowns turning the close game into another big victory. No mentions of Blythe were found, but you can see him on a couple plays in this KCRG highlight video (Blythe is #77 in the black).
Next Game: at Solon - 10/08
Jake Duzey
L Athens 28 - West Bloomfield 33 | (2-4)
I couldn't find anything on this game other than the score. Duzey and Co. have been struggling as of late and next week doesn't get any easier against an undefeated Lake Orion.
Next Game: vs. Lake Orion - 10/08
Riley McMinn
W Rochester 54 - Springfield 26 | (6-0)
Rochester won its sixth straight on Saturday scoring on 6 of its 8 first half possessions, then cruising the rest of the way. McMinn caught his second pass of the year, a 28-yard reception. He is also quoted in the linked article: "Basically we're going to take it to every team. I don't think we have anything to prove anymore. We're going to do this thing outright."
Next Game: at Springfield - 10/02
Cole Fisher
W Benson 7 - Millard North 49 | (5-1)
I couldn't find anything on this game either other than the final score, so obviously nothing on Fisher.
Next Game: at Millard West - 10/08
Jordan Walsh
W Glenbard West 41 - Addison Trail 7 | (6-0)
Glenbard West used four touchdowns of over 40 yards to overcome 4 turnovers and 6 personal foul penalties on their way to a victory on Saturday. No mentions of Walsh were found.

Melvin Gordon
W Bradford 69 - Muskego 47 | (6-0)
Offenses were on display in a shoot out between Bradford and Muskego on Friday night. The Red Devils defense eventually tamed Muskego leading to a 22-point win. Gordon had 12 carries for 142 yards and 3 touchdowns. Additionally he had a 48 yard reception that was also a touchdown.
Next Game: at Case - 10/08
Torrey Campbell
W East Lee 0 - Barron Collier 17 | (4-2)
Barron Collier's defense held East Lee to just 92 yards and no points leaving the offense with little to do to secure a win. Campbell played some at running back and finished the game with 6 carries for 29 yards. He also had a touchdown run called back because of a holding penalty. Barron Collier's head coach on Campbell: "Torrey is a tremendous athlete. He's doing a great job for us. He's valuable on defense, which has limited the carries he's gotten on offense. On down the line, we may have to have more players going both ways."
Next Game: vs. Cypress Lake - 10/08
Henry Krieger-Coble
L Pella 21 - Mt. Pleasant 6 | (3-3)
Mt. Pleasant kept things close early and actually held a 3-0 halftime lead before allowing Pella to gain nearly 300 yards and score 21 points in the second half. No mentions of Krieger-Coble were found.
Next Game: at Chariton - 10/08
Jacob Rudock
W Camden County 28 - St. Thomas Aquinas 42 | (5-0)
In a game broadcast nationally on ESPNU, St. Thomas Aquinas once again showed its dominance. Aquinas struggled early to figure out Camden County Wing-T offense and was only up 24-21 early in the second half. But the defense started playing better as Ruddock picked Camden County apart. Rudock accounted for all 5 of Aquinas' touchdowns, throwing 4 and running in another. He had an extremely effective day going 15 of 20 for 333 yards (a school record) with 4 TDs and no interceptions.
Next Game: vs. Nova - 10/08
John Raymon
L Abington 49 - Council Rock North 31 | (0-5)
Council Rock North continued its winless season losing to Abington 49-31. The score doesn't really indicate how badly CRN was beat however. Abington led 49-7 at halftime before calling off the hounds. No mentions of Raymon were found.
Next Game: at Neshaminy - 10/08
Mike Orloff and Marcus Grant
W Lawrence Academy 37 - St. Mark's 0 | (2-0)
Orloff throwing the ball to Grant was a combination that worked exceptionally well on Saturday. The two connected 4 times for 101 yards and 3 TDs. Orloff finished the game 8 of 14 for 176 yards and added an additional 70 yards on the ground. Grant and Orloff also made a big impact on defense recording 5 and 4 tackles respectively.
Next Game: at Governor's Academy - 10/16
Crazy note: Orloff and Grant's next game isn't for two weeks, because would be opponent, St. George, has decided to withdraw from the matchup scared its players would get hurt against the much bigger Lawrence Academy team.
