Hamilton had a nice night in Strongsville first win of the season. On the night he caught five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Williamsburg won its third straight game soundly. The game in the trenches and were led by Blythe. From the Press Citizen about Blythe, "the 6-foot-3, 290 pound senior played both ways Friday night but was especially disruptive on the defensive side of the ball." The Raider's defense held Mt. Vernon to 0 yards on 32 rushing attempts.

Austin Vincent

This game was a thriller that went to overtime. After DeSoto scored a touchdown to begin the overtime, Miramar answered the score and decided to go for 2. DeSoto was able to fend off the 2-point conversion and secured a 1-point victory. Vincent had 2 catches for 60 yards and a 42-yard TD.

Jake Duzey

Duzey scored the lone touchdown for Athens on a TD catch to open the second half. That was about the only then that went right as Athens got routed by Clarkston. Duzey earned offensive player of the game from his coaches as he finished the game with 7 catches for 143 yards.

Rochester cruised to its 3rd straight victory in a route of Jerseyville on Friday. The defense blanked Jerseyville holding them to just 123 total yards. No mentions of McMinn were found.

Cole Fisher
W Omaha Central 7 - Millard North 22 | (2-1)
Fisher had a big role in Millard North's second victory of the year. He record two interceptions on Friday night, including 1 that he returned 32 yards setting up the Mustangs final TD. Millard North trailed 2-7 at half time but shut out Omaha Central in the second half and rallied for a 15-point win.

Glenbard West used 2 turnovers and a kickoff return for a TD and turned it into its third win of the year. Walsh gets a mention for playing an "amazing game" and for being the "best lineman in the state."
