Raymon in High School
Raymon attends Council Rock North in Newtown, PA. In 2009 the Indians were just 5-5 and really struggled on the road. Raymon played both offense and defense as a tight end and defensive end. His numbers are much more impressive at defensive end though, and that's where he'll most likely line up at Iowa.Stats:
- Offense - 3 catches, 72 yards, 1 TD (also had a rushing TD)
- Defense - 72 tackles
Quick Thoughts:
At 6-5 Raymon has some pretty good size. He should be able to put on a little weight (he's around 245 right now) and be a big DE or move inside to tackle. He's got a giant wingspan and is very athletic so he may be a little bit more like Binns than Clayborn. From the sound of things too, he's the type of guy you want to come to Iowa. He had a tough upbringing that he overcame and now he's looking to play for national championships.
